About Marine Spec

Hi, I'm Harry.

Marine Spec was born from a desire to enhance the reefing experience - not just for myself, but for the wider community of hobbyists who share this love for marine life. From the beginning, my goal has been to create high-quality, thoughtfully designed products that help reefers elevate their tanks in both function and form.

But Marine Spec is about more than just products - it’s about community.

The friendships and connections I’ve made through this hobby mean the world to me. Whether it’s learning from fellow reefers, sharing ideas, or live-streaming with like-minded people, the sense of camaraderie in this space is something truly special.

Sustainability is also at the heart of what I do. I minimise environmental impact by using eco-friendly packaging and recycled acrylic wherever possible. And with 10% of profits from all website orders donated to marine conservation and mental health charities, reef keeping here also helps support a greater cause.

Beyond Marine Spec, I also run a YouTube channel  The Spiritual Reefer  where I share my reefing journey through the lens of mindfulness, patience, and the deeper connection between nature and our tanks.
